2014 Gift Guide

It’s that time of year again! Here is my gift guide for the minimalist who still wants to gift something special to loved ones this year:

  • Succulents: This is my go-to gift this year for the casual yet special people in my life that I owe a big “Thank You!” to. Succulents are cute, cheap, enjoyable in the longterm, and really easy to take care of. You can also get creative with the pot that you use to present them in.
  • Lip Scrub: Another cheap alternative that will last the receiver a long time. These little jars of lip scrubs are really cute and can be a DIY project, check out this post on an easy DIY lip scrub. If you’re in a pinch, just pick one up from LUSH!
  • Quality Stationary: Gifting a great set of paper for stationary use or simply taking notes is usually always appreciated. Rifle Paper Co. is a favorite of mine. This Rifle Paper Co. Shopping List Pad is a great example, it’s even magnetic to place onto your refrigerator.
  • Minimalist Planner: Another great DIY, make a planner or calendar as a gift to someone. You can even print the planner pages yourself and have fun decorating the outside of the planner. There are wonderful resources on Etsy, like this Printable 2015 Planner from 505design. Buying these on Etsy also supports an artist!
